Sleepover
So, I'm at work last night and I get an email from Ted. Julia is sleeping over at her friend Tori's house. Julia and Tori are both from Russia and met last year in swimming lessons. They became fast friends even before we knew about the connection. As my friend Wendy said once--adoptive families sniff each other out!. Anyways, Julia and Tori play soccer together. Last night after practice, they decided to do a sleepover at Tori's house. I just heard from Tori's mom and it sounds like they had a blast--not much sleep but lots of giggling. My little girl is growing up! Well, I suppose it was time. Levi has slept over here with Julia--so it was time for Julia to sleep at someone elses house besides a relative. Sniff sniff.

What?? Relatives are no good?
MIMI feels bamboozeled. LOL
haha--that's so not true--but to stay with someone who isn't a relative--now that's a big deal! For both Julia and momma.
Hmm..I'm plotting how to coordinate sleepovers someday so Tim and I have an evening and a house all to ourselves!!! Yeah, right! I wouldn't know what to do with all that quiet anyway ;)
I hear ya! I know that day's coming. Morgan's had a few play dates but when she figures out the whole sleep-over thing I'm sure she'll be all for it. So far all her friends prefer to come here. I won't sleep a wink when she does her first sleep over elsewhere. sigh. Do they have to grow up?
